Life Points: Gage: 1100/Sheldon: 6300
Gage draws and summons Rescue Rabbit, and sees he has only
one copy of Kabazuls and one copy of Sabersaurus left in his deck, and immediately
accepts his defeat.
Sheldon wins the duel, and becomes the new Store Champion!
Using a control based strategy in game three, and Gage’s decision to summon Evolzar
Dolkka instead of Evolzar Laggia in game three is why he believes he lost. Had
he gone into Laggia, he could have negated the effect of Forbidden Lance and
stood a better chance in the duel. Congratulations to Sheldon Spaulding and his
Chaos Dragon deck for winning the January 2013 Championship Tournament!

Feature Match - Sheldon Spaulding V. Mike Scritch
Sheldon Spaulding is the only duelist to enter every single
Tournament during this month, and while he may not have done the best in all of
them, his consistency and holding a decent record overall put him into the

finished the swiss rounds with a bad record, while Brandon made the top-8 play

the 8th seed spot in the Championship Tournament instead of Mike,
however Brandon lost, and allowed Mike to get in. Today Mike is playing with
